               The Book

       In the hunting world, the Pope & Young and Boone & Crockett Record Books are a goal for many people.

       These record books can be very hard to get your name in; you need skill, and to be in the right place at the right time, or what I call luck. In some cases today, you can buy a shot at an animal that can get you in, and it will cost you half a year's pay.

       But, I want to ask you if you've ever thought about the Book of Life and exactly what it means.

       To get your name in this book you don't need to be skilled, to have luck, and money can't help you no matter how much you have. You only need to be saved when the spirit of God draws you to Him.

       I know you and probably everyone in your family has heard the verse John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Now I want to ask you if you believe in Him with your heart or in your mind. The heart is what's important, for in the heart comes true belief, and then you can be saved.

       Romans 10:9 says that: If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and shalt believe in thine HEART that GOD hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

       If you are not saved, I ask you to take him into your heart and get your name in the only Book that counts. He loves you very much. If the spirit of God is drawing you to Him, Confess and Believe.
